Think Bed Bath and Beyond meets Babies R Us.  This place is affiliated with the BB&B and Linens and Things chains so the layout is almost identical.  This place had a HUGE selection of just about everything and some of the cutest clothes I have found anywhere!  They even had some things that were a good $5-$10 cheaper than another store I had just been in!!  Also...their stroller section was HUGE!  Just an FYI!  If you love going into baby stores like me...then you must check this place out...it is a MUST!  I love it here and will definitely make the drive out from Elgin to shop here when I need to buy a baby gift! =]

I have to agree, I kept saying to my husband, this is an old Bed Bath and Beyond, with mile high aisles filled of Baby products.  They have everything you could ever want if you want to spend $800 on a stroller, or a grand on a crib.  Now I know where all of the Craigslist posters trying to get $500 for a used crib they spent $1400 on shop.
I was no impressed, their lower priced cribs were put together poorly (missing casters, etc) which I think is a ploy to make you look at the more solid $800 + cribs and say "Yeah, that seems a lot safer".  I'm just not into $400 nursery bedding or $300 high chairs.
We did not see a single store employee ask us for help - which is fine by me.
Their stroller section was like and exotic car store - and priced that way as well.  This store just proves that there are a lot of people out there with more cash than sense - or at least people who feel that if you spend more you are gettng more - its just not the case - most of these products are regulated and therefore have to meet safety standards.
Either way, it was a very well lit, almost sterile store, with an array of products that you probably will not find assembled in any other store. Worth a trip, but make sure you shop around before purchasing here.

This is sort of like a Babies R Us. I would say when I went in there, I felt like I was in a Linens-n-Things or a Bed Bath & Beyond, only for baby stuff! It totally has the same feel, layout-wise. They have a lot of baby clothes, toys, stuff for feeding, bottles, paci's, etc. A very wide selection of strollers, carseats of all sizes, etc. I always saw store personnel around and they were more than willing to talk to me and make sure I was finding what I needed. I have twins and was wheeling them around in the double-stroller, and the guy in that section was chatting me up about my stroller, whether I liked it, what I would change, etc. Not in a way that made me feel like he was trying to get me to buy a new one, but more in the way that he was interested in my opinions of this model. I found some things to be a bit over-priced, but then I came across great bargains too. If it was closer to my house I would probably shop there more often. So if you're in the area, check it out!
