Getting ready for a hot tryst? In this town, a thin wallet doesn't mean you have to sacrifice the quality of your food or the quality of your date. Grab your wo(man) and hit the town! Yelpers are in the know about where you can get bang(ed) for your buck.

Is your date into adventure? Take them to navigate the hustlers and ruffians on Skid Row, aka Sixth Street, where you can find Jeremy W at Tu Lan, chomping down Imperial Rolls that have impressed even the likes of Julia Child -- let alone Michael N. Kristina R was lured out to Lahore Karahi, where hot steaming plates of Pakistani delights had her exclaiming that it was "better than sex and drugs mixed in a dirty city kitchen blender." Britt W brought her "sexy little dish" to Lime Tree, where the Southeast Asian chicken was so juicy, robust and succulent, the poor fella had to step up his game to compete!

Need more cheap tricks? Travis P fancies the dim lighting and lemon-lime sake martinis at Citrus Club, a tasty compliment to their selection of spicy, sweet and hot noodle dishes. Club Waziema is part '70s make-out lounge, part vampire, part romantic, and all cool according to Annie O, and offers up heaping servings Ethiopian goodness for under $10. Or partake in the melt-in-your-mouth deliciousness of Maruya Sushi, after which Walesa K and her flame can be found in bed, eyes closed, enjoying the full sensation of food that can't be matched..."

Get them in the mood to stay in with some tantalizing take-out! A sausage from Rosamunde gave Katie M "the earth-shattering satisfaction of good sex," and Jordano K recommends tempering that winning wiener with a beer at Toronado next door. The Euro-trash discotheque videos and cramped yet charming quarters over at Buster's gets Andy G hot for "a dose of naughty-sauce" with his Philly Cheesesteak. And Josua P loves the authentic eats and handmade, still-warm tortillas at La Palma Mexicatessen, noting that their arroz con leche popsicles are perfect for a stay-at-home evening of creamy fun.

Now, who said Yelp isn't easy?

tinna h. on Saigon Sandwiches
"I have braces and should not be eating Vietnamese sandwiches. Saigon Sandwiches makes me not really give a damn about that. If I get the sandwich early enough [they open at the buttcrack of dawn - read: 7am on weekends!], I can let the sandwich sit, and the bread will soften. It's cheap, and if I'm…"

John M. on Ike's Place
"So, you know when you go and check out a place because of the hype, and almost always, the place never lives up to the hype.

Well, boyfriend and I took our little butts over to Ike's Place because all you Yelpers were seriously going bananas about this place. Thank you, Yelpers! You rock!

Scott W. on El Tonayense Taco Truck
"Now this is what I'm talking about.   My favorite burritos over in Oaktown were always from trucks, so it's no surprise that my favorite burrito so far in the mission is from one as well.

Just a short walk from my house and I'm face deep in a slab of goodness.   I got the Carne Asada and it was…"

Cheap Mission Eats - Under $20 for two

Cheap Date: Dinner for 2 under $20
"I love luxury, but sometimes I only got a beer budget. So when me and my honey want to get out of the house and go on a date, $20 or less is our budget."

Lifestyles of the Richmond Famous
"The glory that is known as the Outer and Inner Richmond. Come visit us for cheap eats and angry Russians who assault you in front of your apartment (or maybe that just happens to me...)"

Cheap Eats (from a self-proclaimed foodie)
"I might have a palate that can appreciate the likes of Thomas Keller and Alice Waters....but my wallet isn't necessarily that refined (yet).

Here are my Bay Area picks for best cheap eats (i.e. under $15 per person).

Now go forth and get your grub on...."
